Back after a hiatus

I've been silent because I've been traveling like crazy. It's one of those when it rains in pours things. Which unfortunately was the case in Mumbai last month. Someone I know of drowned. Got stuck in his car and so could not get out in time. Pretty bad scene. And now the risk of an epidemic. The people of Mumbai deserve a break.

As for me, I was in Osaka, Chicago and Atlanta in quick succession. Nothing exciting. All work and no play.

I did read a few books during my travels. Shantaram by Gregory Roberts being one of them. I liked it quite a bit. Actually a whole lot. Another book recommended by my dad, and he's right on the mark. A great Mumbai book. But I wish it had been shorter. Too much going on there, too many details. Don't editors do anything these days?

While in Atlanta a friend introduced me to Rabbi Shergill. Boss, this sardar is good! Highly recommend his music. Still can't get Bulla ki jaana main kaun out of my head.
