Weekend activities
Movies, booze, books, boredom. Just about sums up my weekend.
I saw Parineeta and liked it a lot. Boss, this new woman is great! Beautiful photography. Great acting. Saifu outdoes himself. I must now read the book.
Then I read Hari Kunzru's Transmission. I didn't like it as much as his previous book The Impressionist, but still quite a good read. I really liked what he did with the Arjun Mehta character. I thought he captured the life of an Indian professional quite well as well as the culture clash.
Then went boozing with my friends. Bar hopping and a bit of dancing. Nothing interesting happened. Hence the boredom part. Life's all blah at the moment.

Seems the whole world has liked Parineeta! And mademoiselle Balan :-) LOL
yes indeed - mademoiselle balan is outta this world! :D
too true about hari kunzru's transmission. why is it that most writers get stereotypical post book no 1? though arjun mehta's characterixation is makes the whole book worthwhile i think.
She never got noticed when she was doing the ads. Thatz the power f bollywood glamour !
Parineeta was good and Vidya Ballan was superb. I didn't like the ending, though.
